Again, mere hyperbole. Why is it that on this site if you do not agree with an opinion that X IS THE GREATEST THING EVER then you must hold the extreme opposite opinion? Where are the shades of grey? Gold and Sullivan were generally good for Birmingham City, until the stadium bid failed and they lost interest. 'Free watch' promotions, spiralling season ticket costs and an increasing amount of what can only be described as 'having a go at the fans' are BALANCED out by their undoubted success in stabilising the finances of the club, rejuvenating the stadium and restoring the club's identity. On the strength of it, they did a better job than some boards, but to claim they were the 'best board' by a country mile just smacks of a teenage crush on some boy band or other. They were generally good for Blues, and Blues were generally good for them. Nuff said!!11! |
